Day 4: German Basement

One thing about living here in Germany, is the architecture. The houses, buildings... everything is so different and unique. My hubby kept complaining about a weird smell, so we decided to check the basement to make sure the windows were closed. So I grabbed my camera and took some shots.
I also edited on picnik (loving this site, by the way) and backtracked on some of my previous posts to add a watermark on my other posts.
I couldn't pick just one pic, so bear with me on the 4 pics. I tried to do a collage, but I must pay for the premium package and I want to explore a little longer before I commit to picnik. LOL :0)

  1. Strange, when I click on the pictures, it's only showing 3 out of the 4 pics in the individual photo thing. Hmmm... does anyone know how I can make sure that when you click on any of the pics, all 4 will come up to the viewer?

  2. LOVING the textures and tones in these! I'm not sure about your question, because on my home computer I can't even open the viewer..lol

  4. Thanks ladies! I had fun editing the pictures since it's stark white down there. LOL As for a studio, it would be cool except you can't stand straight up if you're over 5'7/5'8 (low ceiling) plus it's cold. :0) And spiderwebs must be cleaned. LOL It reminds me of an old bunker. Anyways! As for the viewer, when you go to someone's blog, and you bring your mouse over the pic, the little hand shows up and when you click on the picture, it takes you to a viewer where you can check out the pics a little more closely and individually without the post being in the way. It works for 3 out of the 4 pics on this post, and on 1 of the 2 pics on my Day 2 post (it used to work for both pics, but after I edited all my posts yesterday, it won't do it). Oh well. It is what it is. :0)

  5. it seems like it has something to do with how they are posted. The first three, if you hover over them, you can click on them. The 4th, you can't...almost like instead of being inserted as a picture, it was just copy/pasted in, if that makes sense.

  6. I'm with Heather 100% - that basement has studio written all over it! I was just excited to see some pics of where ya'll live since all I normally see is what's in the background. :) Great shots!!!

  7. Thanks Jennifer... I'm sure I can upload again. :0) Jamie and Heather - maybe if I get to that level sometime I may just try it. ;0) And Jamie, I'll try to get other pics of the house as we go along. I have yet to even post pics of Sebastian's room! LOL :)) Anyways, time for bed. Night!
